hey like the title states im looking for a 1jz twin turbo engine with 5 speed tranny, uncut harness, ecu. etc…
if someone can get one for under $2000 shipped i will buy it. also if someone has a 1jz tranny for a good price i might consider buying a engine with no tranny or auto.
last question… anyone now if a 1jz tranny will work with a 2jz engine? i might then consider a 2jz swap
yes, the 1J trans will bolt up to the 2J
I have 1J and 2J rear sump engines in stock. I dont think your going to find a 5 speed package w/eng for that cheap tho. Some people sell the trans for a grand alone.
If you can find a cheap trans gimmie a call about the engines and I will give you a good deal.

and yes the trannies are interchangeable, depending on which tranny you use, might have to swap the bellhousings . . .
