WTB:97-99 corvette/93-95 Corvette

Like the title says I am currently looking to buy a Corvette. I would prefer a 97-99 Vette. Has to be stick and have black interior. I will settle for a 93-95 Vette six speed. again interior must be black. let me know what’s out there as i am still searching myself. One last thing mileage doesn’t bother me at all. my budget is $11,000.

how come no 96?LT-4 are considered the best of the c4 era and I think they will hold their value in the future

Jeff, buy my '93 f’real!! It’s way under your budget and everything you’re looking for

bout time you did this.

i’ll keep my eyes out. My dad just bought an 01 6 spd vert with 2700 miles on it. He’s been looking for a bit, so I’ll ask if he saw anyhting

there have been some awesome deals on corvetteforums.com

00 frc w/ 50k went for $12.5k

Lot of 100k 97-99s for $10k

 thats cheap!

There is a 96 vette sitting on dorance in south buffalo in weeds, has been there for 3 years. Sad because its was a nice car.

I had no idea the 97+ was down to 10k.

Thats terrible…
I’m sure my dad will get raped on his 03 vert with 1800 miles :frowning:

yeah, it amazes me when kids with 00 SI’s think they are gunna get $8k with 100k on their car when you could get a 3 series for less or a vette for just a little more when all the cars have the same miles on them.

edit:I should have said it’s amazing people pay $8k

prob 93-95 because its obd1(only reason i can assume), 97-99 for LSsiqness!!

00 si is a low more reliable and cheaper to work on and also more practical… but still probably worth more like 6-9 at this point.

seriously, you haven’t found any 323i’s for under 8k, w/ 100k?

seriously?

good argument, since you can’t dd a vette year round, it isn’t worth anything. But 8k for a 9 year old dd with 100k(half buffalo winter) is definitely worth it. My taurus was $400, is uber reliable, gets 25mpg, is rust free and is easy to work on, but I should’ve spent $8k on an old car that isn’t even as comfortable as my fucking taurus. You speak like a true enthusiest, over pay for a dd so you can’t afford a summer car, plus a vette isn’t worth $10k anyways because you couldn’t drive it in the snow.

PS: I saw a victory red C6 coupe driving down elmwood today, and saw a black C6ZO6 a little while ago.

sorry I cant help it

WHY DO I OWE 6700 ON A 01 ACCORD?!?!?!?!

ok, continue with the corvette stuff

if u HAVE to get a c4, get a 96 like he said because they have the better LT4 engine. id still pay a lil extra cash to step up to the 97+ tho

fixed. everyone likes what they like for whatever reason. the last reason I would want a car is to please someone else. vette, bmw or other wise.

I’m sorry about this thread getting hichjacked, but he is right, there is just so much more bang for your buck with a civic, my cobra isn’t even fun to drive, and it definitely couldn’t be driven in the winter either, not like it’s a mustang or anything. Since everyone is paying the high resale prices of hondas there must just be so much car there, if everyone is doing it it must be the most efficient way to spend your money, the most fun you could buy for that amount of money. It’s not like the majority of the human race is naive and unintelligent, it’s not like your ignoring my arguement that a true enthusiest can find a lot more bang for there buck, it’s not like honda kids buy on blind brand faith and claim hondas are the best car ever made, it’s not like you could get the same mileage/year car in say a cobra or vette. Maybe someday everyone will start burying there head in the sand and you will follow.

My cobra is as reliable as any car on this board, it gets AWESOME gas milage for the power it has, and it does donuts… but your right I should have bought a honda, maybe the black s2k w/ 120k that got annihilated on a curb, but when someone asked 13k for it, it was such a good price.

um, I am not sure what happened to this thread, but I will keep my eyes open for the vette.
