At this point anything would be better than mine, can’t afford much seeing im moving in june and need the money but my rear end seems like its about to go out and I would like to have something for a back up. Let me know if you have or know someone who has one that isn’t completely shot. Like I said, I’ll take anything at this point.

No not blown yet. Its just a lot of noises it shouldn’t make lol. Its whining, something knocks when you brake. But yeah I’ll look into a rebuild, anyone you recommend? Albany speed sho

I have like new 3.42 gears if you need them. Give them to ya for $40
Mine starts to clunk when the aftermarket u-joints need grease. The whining is almost certainly the rear gear lash tho. Smokins 3.42s and an install kit would get ya back in business.
carrier bearings are the most common whining on these if stock . not the gears
correct…but a new set of 3.42’s for $40 would be a plus for him!!
Im pretty sure the car already has 3.42s. From what I read the stock m6 has 3.42 and the a4 has 2.73/3.23? If in wrong I apologize, I’m from the honda world, stepping into some bigger shoes.
But if I end up needing new gears then yeah, I’ll take them.

If you end up needing a housing. I have a complete rear out of a 96 6 cylinder car. If you have a use for it just come pick it up and its yours. Down side is I’m up in Plattsburgh.

dual w/traction . at this point it would be cheaper for him to do the whole thing instead of having me rebuild it
M6 has 3.23 unless its a WS6, SS, or 1LE then it has 3.42 for the most part.
