Whites DFX Metal Detector

Bet it’s a copy as I had them when I was a kid.Forgot where they sold them around here.
D

I think it was graded ms-67 or something like that. Next time I am home I will look…

While we are on the subject, I have some other REAL bizzare coins I would like appraised

I also have a shit ton of stamps, in sheets, with the thing on the side that the post office was supposed to remove (no clue what I am talking about)

Where can I take these?

You’re talking about plate blocks. While I have some, I also have no clue what they are worth.I collected stamps for about 6 mos back when I was about 10-12 and thought"boy, this is boring"
I’m sure most ppl feel the same way about coins tho
D

As far as where to take them,Go to Harold Rice on Kenmore ave. There will be a younger guy(late 30’s and for the life of me I can’t think of his name, but I know he lives upstairs)Tell him Derek From G.I. sent ya or the Beanie baby guy:D.

I have no interest whatsoever in stamps. They, to me, are the definition of lame. But my grandfather worked at the post office, and collected them. I have fucking boxes upon boxes of the dumb things…

how would i know if its a copy?

did you put in a quarter, turn the knob, and have it pop out of a machine located in the front vestibule of a local hardware store? sure sign.

ive got a few silver half dollars around here if youre interested

i dont even remember where i got it from, ive had it for a long time

i have a ton of liberty dollars, JFK half dollars and really old dimes

D, i know a kid on another forum that is selling this, but i dont know if its authentic or not?

I was actually going to bump this thread yesterday as I was just thinking about it.What was he selling it for and is he local?

i dont think he has any idea and no hes not local

edit: nm “Looks like it’s turning out to be counterfeit, so yes, i’ll take $2”

Before my grandfather died, he gave me an old (1995 or so) “coin book” that apparently helps you identify certain coins and get an idea of what they may be worth…but but book is nearly 15 years old now.

He also with that gave me a fanny-pack type bag full of coins in no particular order…that he had put away since he was a kid, some of which he got from his parents, dating back to the late 1800’s.

He gave this to me maybe 6 years ago, and died 3 years ago. I haven’t once looked at any of them…but now i’m curious to see if he had anything cool. He was pretty serious about them, and kept them locked up, and told me he wanted me to lock them up too, and did so before even writing up his will because he didn’t want it to end up split up or sold after he died.

maybe i’m rich? we’ll see when i get home and dig it all up…

do you just do coin or do you get into the paper???

are u at all interested in paper money too cause my dad has a $1000 bill lol i have no clue what its worth but its gotta be worth somethin its in pretty good shape no tears
