i’ve got a question for you misteroman. years ago my parents used to go to garage sales in search of pedal cars that they liked to collect. i was fascinated with coins at a young age, and looked for them at the garage sales. i came across a dime at one of them, but instead of being silver, it was cast in gold. the lady there let me have it. i think its still sitting around at my moms house somewhere but now im curious as to how rare it is and how much its worth. any ideas?

Would have to see it to know more about it.

I’ve got some coins. I’ll pm you with what they are and the dates on them tomorrow.

well my parents got divorced soooo… “I” would be willing to sell it lol

what about paper??

I have a guy I know that is into the paper. If ya want I can get his # for ya.I have always wanted a 500 and a 1000 bill tho.

i was making fun of you for using the “word” “alls” pal

I hear GDK coin and jewelry dealer at 1380 french road is an honest appraiser.

I was told to go there, but I really only deal with silver bullion.

Don’t know if you’re still interested, but I sent you a PM.

I dont know if your interested in this stuff anymore but I have a silver half dollar from 1966, a one dollar coin from 1974 and a big silver chineese or japaneese coin. I might have more rare coins around here somewhere.

bump…i have some older coins too

The 66 is worth about $2.the 74 is worth $1.25.the big thing may be $12 or so if really silver. These are the average prices based on the limited description but should be 99% accurate
96- pm or post up what ya have. livin can verify my honesty as I gave him $70 for a penny he had thrown in with all the commons dates :thankyou:
