im lookin into getting a puppy. i really want a dachshund (weiner dog) or a chiwawa. andbody know where i can get one at a decent price. i know the small dog thing comes off kinda “gay” but i dont want something i need a shovel to clean up after.
My bro has a kick ass long haired chiwawa. He’s that khaki color. I’ll try to find some pics. Unfortunately my bro lives in Chicago and he got it from a breeder there. If your willing to make the road trip, definetly worth it.

here’s some advice. take it if you will.
each week the SPCA euthanizes hundreds of animals across WNY.
if you do not need to have a purebred line, or just want to help save a life, please check your local shelters before making a decision. there are some beautiful and eventempered animals there, many of them are from families that just could not afford to keep their pets.
perhaps I am just a little sentimental right now as I just had to put my cat down yesterday. believe me, take one walk through a shelter.

i got an awsome 4 month pitbull from the spca, hes not a purebreed but he was damn excited to get a good home tho. Do the poor animals at the SPCA a favor and check em out. Lance is awsome, if i can ill post a few pics of the little guy in a few minutes

I wholeheartedly agree with the SPCA route, however, it’s rare that a toy breed ends up there. Typically people that acquire a toy-sized dog know what they’re getting into and can handle the responsibility. Not saying that there aren’t some that do pass through the SPCA, but from what I’ve been told, it’s rare. Maybe you can be put on some kind of waiting list?

You probably won’t have much luck finding a toy at a shelter, and toy breeds are usually expensive as hell, so I’d try searching the papers for a litter of oops mixed small-breed puppies.
I got a German Shephard/godonlykonwswhat from a shelter. 40 pounds full grown, smart as hell, got some bad habits I’ve been working on breaking but she was pregnant, starved and a stray when the shelters first got ahold of her. Rescued her for like $250 (they only charge what her rescue cost, and they had her spayed.) Definitely the most loyal friend I have ever had. 
The cool thing about mixes is that there is a genetic phenomen that when you cross-breed, the offspring is healthier than either parent animal. Mutts really are healthier!
I also have my fiance’s 10 month old purebred maltese. (He was 800 bucks, well actually like 8800 cuz he came with a diamond engagement ring on his collar :pimp: ) Also smart, but occassionally gets very very yappy, but that’s usually a signal that I haven’t been giving him enough attention (playing with him.) He’s a cool little rascal, and they’re both chick magnets :tup:…
Nothing I hate more than yappy dogs, I may resort to feeding the ones behind my house some antifreeze.
