Ultra gray works a bit better for oily shit, but ultra black RTV will do the trick for that flange as long as you brake clean the surfaces good before applying. Or a paper gasket and permatex hi-tack adhesive. Either or, don’t matter.

Yeah rtv that shit it will be fine. I did that on my return line and it was peachy. removed it and did it again and it was peachy a second time.
synapse usually has these in stock give them a call. its a lot easier and cleaner than rtv.
