wtf firefox v. Brazil

So internut exploder kept crashing when it loaded my iGoogle home page. On my work laptop, at work.

So I installed Opera. Wouldn’t connect, didn’t feel like screwing with it for more than a minute to get the proxy server blah blah blah i don’t know what i’m doing to work. Dumped that. Installed firefox.

After enabling auto-detect proxy server, it works but google thinks I’m in Brazil. I don’t habla espanol.

What does one do?

give up man, u obviously suck at the internet

Yeah but I would like to suck at it in engrish.

AHAHA

they dont hablo espanol in brazil either

Why arent you using “Direct Connection To The Internet” in firefox?

If your Firefox uses a proxyserver anywhere, the website will think you are coming from there.

Fine fine. I don’t hablo Portuguese either. Well, actually I probably know more portuguese than spanish. Well, maybe equal. I’ve spent 10 days in spanish speaking places and 10 days in portuguese speaking places. Anyhow…

Srsly. Their standards for engineers are almost as low as their standards for IT guys.

hahaha, yeah i could tell.

Anyhow, firefox learned english so that’s fixed. But iGoogle is still crashing the browser so I ditched that (since I’m not supposed to have it installed anyways) and back to internet explorer.

I should probably do some work anyhow.
