I made it 1:30 into the song. I can’t believe anyone would think that’s good.
Lol I wasnt attacking Nickelback (although I f****** despise Nickelback).
I was attacking people who like Nickelback, and for this example, im sure 99% Nickelback fans couldnt even put together half of a defense like you just did. Theyre the ones who like their radio stuff.
I thought I saw…no lie…that Madonna was playing the SB. Either way the halftime show hasn’t been impressive probably since Michael Jackson.
Here’s what my last.fm sound cloud looks like:
:shrugs: so, we obviously have different music tastes so be it. I have never heard of one band you listed in your listen list.
Bottom line is this, Music is Art, Art speaks to everyone differently, Art is both an expression and personal reaction of emotion.

This song is also fucking awesome, albeit extremely long:
Wait everyone doesn’t like the same music?
Musically seems interesting, but for me, it’s not my style of music at all, The whole screaming singer thing I never really liked, nor admired. Yea, you can scream, and will probably have polyps on your throat in no time and sound like Axle Rose. shrugs But hey, if you like it, that’s what matters; not what I think about it.
Thanksgiving game, not superbowl lol. Thanks Jam.
Haha Motocrossx23 is the biggest asshole on here but one of the cooler people I know from the boards in real life which makes it 100x more entertaining.
ditto
Matter of preference I suppose. Further proving as 97Formula said…music is art and it’s all subjective to the listener. I wouldn’t be able to listen to stuff like this myself.
I don’t really care what I listen to, but I couldn’t stand listening to that new song posted. I got about 5 seconds in and had to change it. The old PR stuff I could at least stand listening to.
Who the fuck cares what people listen to? That is why they make headphones. I love how people’s social status classification is based on if they listen to main stream music or not. Unless they are walking around signing songs to you and blasting it in your bedroom while you sleep, who cares!
i love bluegrass/acoustic stuff, does that mean i’m a toothless hillbilly that loves moonshine & and my sister?
i’m not toothless and don’t have a sister, but do like moonshine, so maybe there is some truth in stereotypes.
but i’m trying not to judge others on their musical tastes, i’m treating music like religion now.
as long as your not in my face telling me what i like sucks/is wrong, why do i care what you like/believe.
i saw bela fleck at UB again last night & was glad everyone doesn’t like his music or i’d have been in a shitty sounding arena instead of a wonderful sounding theatre.
Bela fleck is fucking awesome. How was it? Anyone that plays any instrument or appreciates musical talent should love him.
Is it bad that I love this song and know how to play it on guitar? And this video is awesome.
Never saw Bela Fleck (I want to), but I saw Victor Wooten @ UB a few years ago, and of course it was awesome. You can hate bluegrass to death but you have to appreciate Bela Fleck and his skill.
On November 11th I’ll be seeing “The Musical Box” for the second time. They’re a Genesis cover band that does the Peter Gabriel era Pre-1976.
On November 26th Drew and I will be seeing Mastadon, Dillinger Escape Plan, and Red Fang.
Bela shows are always good, seen a dozen now & never disapointed.
now that Jeff C has joined DMB full time they did this tour with Howard Levi (og member of the Flecktones) & Casey Driessen was a guest on 2 tunes
i’m a taper, so i will be posting yesterdays show on archive.org this week some time.
you can judge for yourself.
