Could be just her computer, I dont think she ever restarted it so that maybe it. Ill have to try mine this weekend, maybe reboot the cable motem too.

Anyone that has premier service what happened was the billing code for lite & premier are the same. So when everything updated it updated them with the wrong boot file. Thus giving a premier customer the lite boot file of 256 up/256 down.

If your still having that prob, just send me your phone number and I can fix it.

thanks for the info! called them and had it changed immediately. now, all is back where it should be

Unfortunately, TW hasn’t pushed those speedrates out this way. I’m not sure if they just don’t want to because Adelphia had us on that slow shit and they just don’t want to bother. I was hoping that at some point during the takeover, our speeds would start matching the rest of the country (Time Warner-wise).

[/quote]

Only in FIOS areas, Adelphia was pushing 16 down 2 up in those areas.

Checked it again today…

Haha, awesome. Way to go Time Warner.

$50 a month for slow internet.

I had the same thing, call them up, and be all like “Yo fuckers my shit is mad slow” and they will be all like “turn off your modem and computer while I secretly flip this magic switch that will make it all better” and you will all be like “sweet now just do that before I have to call you next time”

Hah, I would but ya know what, I value my time too much to sit on hold for 30 minutes to have them try to tell me the problem is on my end like they always do.

Oh, and then I’ll be called a liar by some dumb donkey-faced slut on the news who will talk shit about the customers who are paying her salary because they’re too stubborn to admit that they fucked up with everything, including customer service.

Ok, its your prerogative but it took me 10 minutes to clear it up.

Your call.

It’s blatantly obvious the modem isn’t provisioned properly. Most likely it’s not going to fix itself unless you call them to have it corrected.

Or you can sit there and bitch about it by doing nothing to try and fix it.

Haha, people actually took my reply seriously?

Lolzor. It was a comment on Time Warners stellar customer service.

No problems with them here thus far.

Then again I don’t call all that often.
