trying to find a small electric fan to mount to my oil cooler reasonably priced. Local stores like autozone and advance auto parts and stuff dont have what im looking for…

why a fan for an oil cooler?

I see alot of monster 500hp cars that a well ducted oil cooler is more than enough?

i have a honda ac fan i think its 8in

because im using a factory radiator and a 180 thermo…with a gt28r. my oil temps on a roadcourse hit 230+ degrees in one lap, then 250+ second lap. this is WITH an oil cooler mounted in front of the radiator. Stock fans as well.

i need something in the 400cfm range i can just setup on a switch for track duty. I have no temp issues daily driving.

alright, something still seems a bit off though, if the fan doesnt solve your problem maybe look into line and core sizing

yeah, im pretty sure im going to have to step up from 3/8 line to 1/2 and a larger core…but i need a bandaid for now.
