WTH(Hire): Electronics Inspectors/Testers

I am looking to hire 2-3 people to perform testing operations on a load of BOSE stereo equipment.

I recently purchased 36 Pallets of Bose equipment. Some of the units are Brand New in Box, however the shipping list shows that a fair a amount are open box units that will require some Quality Control Inspection.

Responsibilities will include:
· Verifying the contents of each unit (complete/incomplete)
· Verifying the packaging conditions (Unopened, opened, damaged, etc)
· Verifying the condition of components if opened (New, Damaged, Distressed, etc)
· Items that are not factory sealed will need to be inspected/tested
· Damaged/Incomplete items will be sought for salvaging and either fixing, replacing broken components, or piece matching damaged units to make one complete working unit.
· Testing results/information to be logged using our data entry system
Looking for competent people who have an interest or background with electronics and their inner workings.

Those who wash their electronics with a hose need not apply.

$9/hr base pay, higher available after performance evaluation.

At the moment, this is a temporary job which will last 1-2months, starting Feb 2nd weeks. If I purchase a similar load of merchandise, I will have a reason to employ for longer.

9-5 Mon-Fri
Some overtime available on Saturdays if need-be.

PM me if interested.

Let me know if you want a copy of IPC 610 specs.

It shows good vs. poor electronics assembly practices.

Its required knowledge for electronics techs.
EDIT: I’m doubting you want people to open them up, so it
may be of no interest to you

Hmm I wish I could swing the hours around school and my other job. I used to be in electronics testing/manufacturing, If you are looking for people at the end of the semester I may come help ya out for a while, until then GL. Josh is a stand up guy anyone who takes this wont regret it.

I assume that this is a legit, on the books job?

I could use some extra coin, but weekdays are a no go :\

thanks.

end of the semester may be too late. I’m looking to push this product quickly.

Yes, on the books. Working cosistancy during the week is a must… i just let go an employee because of her inability to be at work M-F.

damnit. i did just lose my job because of the stupid recession…

ok, thanks anyway.

bump for you

bump for this job opportunity. i recently came on board with josh to help out in the warehouse and so far I am loving it.

It’s def not a boring job and there is always something to do. Right now i mainly work with shipping/customer service, but im sure I will be doing some of this as well.

Good luck to you guys and hopefully some of you can get in here, i know i could sure use the help.

i know you are looking for someone M-F 9-5 but if anything changes i have worked at best buy for 4 years as a tech and I am MECP certified, i deal with electronics all day. I am available tues- thur 9-5 and other than that my schedual changes but i can make some changes to if it turns out you need someone like part time or what not.

PM’d.

I may be interested in this. The only thing is that I am still currently employed with Circuit City full time, (staying until full closure), and I can only work 2 days during the week. I’ve been at CC for about 5.5 years both as home electronics sales, but mostly as the Roadshop supervisor (I’ve been supervisor for about 5 years). I can work any two days since I make my own schedule at CC. PM me back if your interested in bringing me on, and obviously I will soon be looking for a new full time job too.
Thanks
Josh Supry
