the only reason i play the 360 is becuase i was able to mod it
i like my playstation. But i mostly use it for BRDs.
I also downloaded 2 regular nintendo games. Bionic Commando and Megaman.

besides all the bullshit they have on xbox live before playing a game, what is the difference with the game play itself between the 2 systems, what makes xbox better for game play?

Better triggers on the controllers in my book for the 360. I also like the left analog being more towards the top since it is used the most. Arent the PS3’s triggers r2 l2 wider? not feeling like pistol triggers at all.

pretty much what im getting out of this is just better meeting up with friends on xboxlive than ps3, but yet you still need to pay like 50$ a year every year to have it compared to never having to pay for it.
Because for the amount of work that has gone into making Live what it is. They are always trying to make it better with updates. The experience is worth the very tiny fee they ask you to pay for.

I didnt renew mine because i dont play online that much, but its nice being able to download demos or addons and videos. ill probly buy another year soon.

XBL = A massive online community with constant upgrades and 99.9% uptime.
Gaystation Network = 2 homos running a BBS on a 56k modem out of their basement.
$50 a year for what you get in quality service with XBL is a great deal.
I paided $31 for 13 months previously.
Now with Microsoft Live discounts you can pick it up even cheaper.
ive got ps3 and i love it ive played my cousins xbox360 and for some reason i still liked the ps3 more in my mind they were both the exact same except on my ps3 i can search the web

well i dont use ps3 so i dont know how the online is and thats why i ask.
i dont have live because i still need to get the cable into my basement, i dont want to have wireless. its just a matter of time before my parents finally give in to me drilling a hole in the corner of office to run the cable to the basement. once thats done, i can wire the cable threw the drop ceiling and down the wall to the xbox. my parents are not happy about it because it a brand new house.
i have played a fair share of live at my buddies house so its not like i dont see whats on it and how it works for xbox, but wouldnt ps3 constantly try to update there shit as well? i mean i understand why they make you pay, and im not saying its a lot of money, but why doesnt ps3 online take money and instead make the online a lot better?

I use to think the same thing then I realized that in a few years my computer was pretty much worthless for playing games and needed to be upgraded or replaced.

Yep, but I bet that computer you had does everything else you need a computer to do just fine right (web, email, edit pictures, office suite etc)? That’s why I gave up on computer gaming. Just didn’t seem worth it to keep building $1000 rigs to play games when I could buy a $300 Xbox and play for years with zero dollars in upgrades.
Also i know that with a keyboard mouse anyone could pwn. Using a controller (a good controller) it levels the playing field so to speak. On top of that there are no “hacks” so if you suck its your own fault.
