Pretty cool article. This guy did a nice clean setup too!
pretty cool… but is that really needed? I know the 360’s run a little warm… but water cooling seems like an extreme, especially since your not upping the voltage to the CPU/GPU at all, like with oc’ing
To cool the system appropriately, no but the reason the guy did it was because he was sick of the loud fans.
didnt even think of that… good idea… sileeent
yeah thats cool, silence and e-cock.
Changed for accuracy.
Don’t be jealous because you have no l337 sk33lz…
i have a microATX pc… hopefully i can learn from this… although i won’t be making my own block. wow
I’m sorry, but the 360 runs really quiet already, doesn’t it? All the liquid systems I have seen need fans to cool the liquid, and in my experience they were usually pretty noisy still.
no man… my 360 is fucking louder than the two computers with open cases that are next to me right now…
Intresting. Thanks for the heads up
The fans aren’t whats loud on the xbox360. It’s the damn dvd drive.
thats the newer one, Hardocp has the original water cooled 360 on its site they did.
its the fans…
Well then maybe I lucked out with a quiet one. Go to the dashboard with no game in the drive. It’s pretty quiet. Put in a game and start playing it. It then gets crazy loud and if you put your ear to the 360 it’s actually the drive making the racket.
if it has delta fans like the article says, they are probably pretty loud
