can anyone explain how to change all these question marks into english?
ive tried converting it but i still mostly get question marks!
I don’t see what you mean. You may need Japanese character support?
I use Google Toolbar, it’s the best translator I’ve used. All you have to do once it’s installed is right-click on any page and click ‘Translate to English’

you do not have the japan language pack - simply visit windows update (tools - windows update) from internet explorer, and either view all available updates. From there just select that particular language pack and your done.
lol, its looks to be firefox and not ie, so updating ie would not solve the problem. If you see the little red circle with the up arrow in the top right near the close button, click on it and it will set you up with more updates for firefox. I am using it as well but with all updates I see the Japanese text with no problem. 8)
