YAY BUSH!!

Well hes conservative or something like that… i know nothing about the leader… just he hates gays, minorities and poor people…

no, I dont think they should “grow” any.

Ummm why do you think I object to it? I think it is moraly wrong. :bloated: You for one are not someone who should be preaching about fallowing blindly you liberal hypocrite. I am not uninformed or uneducated on the subject. I am just against the use of human embryos for medicine. if they can find a way to do it without them then awsome. But that is what I believe. Call me what you want, I could really care less.

Sidenote: Does anybody else think of the Christopher Reeves episode of south park where sucks the insides of the fetuses and becomes super strong and shit when they read this? Funny ass episode.

Bush needs that money to make war, not save lives, you sillies

lol at calling me a liberal

Anyone who doesn’t agree with JEG is a liberal…

and everybody who doesn’t agree with you is “uneducated”

No, just you so far…

big lol @ the “enlightened”

because in JEGs mind it’s better to destroy something than it is to use something for science

Jeg, where are you with all the testing they do on rats?

JEG, you and the others like you who wish to stop science in its tracks because you feel God has deemed the use of something wrong remind me of the man by the river

He heard a radio report that the river was going to rush up and flood the town. And that all the residents should evacuate their homes. But the man said, “I’m religious. I pray. God loves me. God will save me.”

The waters rose up. A guy in a row boat came along and he shouted, “Hey, hey you! You in there. The town is flooding. Let me take you to safety.”

But the man shouted back, “I’m religious. I pray. God loves me. God will save me.”

A helicopter was hovering overhead. And a guy with a megaphone shouted, “Hey you, you down there. The town is flooding. Let me drop this ladder and I’ll take you to safety.”

But the man shouted back that he was religious, that he prayed, that God loved him and that God will take him to safety.

Well… the man drowned. And standing at the gates of St. Peter, he demanded an audience with God. “Lord,” he said, “I’m a religious man, I pray. I thought you loved me. Why did this happen?”

God said, “I sent you a radio report, a helicopter, and a guy in a rowboat. What the hell are you doing here?”

Maybe God gives us these scientific breakthroughs so we can use what would otherwise be destroyed in order to save the lives of the living.

and speaking of morals…

what is moral to you?

All I know is that my mother has MS and stem cell research could probably lead to a cure.

While most of you here bicker about whether its morally right or not I could care less.

This shit could save my mother, and everyday this asshole keeps this country from finding a cure is another day lost to my mom.

:word: seriously, the longer my dad can live is all i care about.

Fuck what people think is right or not

people wish to stop science in it’s tracks because it proves too many of their beliefs wrong. so how is using one embryo for medical purposes vs. using 1 out of 40 and throwing the unworthy ones any worse? hmm. one embryo for the better of all humans? or 39 because they are defective?

what are you a fucking psycic now? you do not know anything about me. I am against the entire process of using human embryos. so, I don’t condone destroying them :bloated:.

  1. the theme is right, but you fucked up the story.

  2. I am NOT against science! I am very interested in science. There are just certain things I disagree with. Why you think I am some radical religous wacko I dont know, but I am not. If I was I would not smoke cigars, drink and swear. Yes I believe in god. so what. I am not against science as far as medical advancement. I am an EMT, I see all sorts of people with medical problems every day. I just do not agree with the use of human embryos for such advances. I understand that there are massive benefits to it, and I am quite conflicted. because yes, I think its wrong, but I have to really ask myself “do the ends justify the means”? I lean towards no, but I am not sure. The amount of good it can do is awsome, but it goes against what I believe. I believe life is sacred and not to be taken lightly or wasted. Hence the moral delema. it really depends on where you believe life begins.

Does that help at all? a little more in depth perception of my views.

^that, i can respect, even though i don’t agree.

wow. wowwwwwwwwwwww.

ok, i have read this whole thread, and let me just give you an idea of what is going to happen.

  1. jeg gets all fired up, really has no stance or opinion on anything, just follows what all the other volunteer firemen say.

  2. everyone else tries to make him see from their point of view.

  3. jeg remains narrow-minded and rubs another one out in akron.

the end.
