Mike fo realz, the New SKi doo Revs are the shit, I thought they were fugly at first too, then they grew on me then i rode one!! sick. You like the way a bike feels riding it, you’ll love the REV the rider forward is awesome and the rear suspension feels like yer riding in a cadillac! I had one for one season and loved it but lack of snow had me bummed soo i traded it on a quad. ANyways have fun on that Relic. LOL.
Why don’t you drop the RB26 into a sled? :naughty:

LoL!! Thats the exact sled i once had except mine was black, with silver racing stripes :snky: All joking aside it was actually a good sled, but i didnt take very good care of it, lol. 
We’ll see if you have the same feelings next year.

I would rather not ride than ride an old sled. (unless of course I was just bombing around in a field or something)
Just remember, stay to the right in fields… its called dead center for a reason. Respect trails and trailowners, they do not have to let us ride on thier property, and more and more people are not letting us use them anymore.
Trails should be well taken care of this year and years to come… all of the clubs are required to get groomers and get thier trails inspected, or they lose thier state grants. We just got the mothership of groomers in our club… Brand Spanking New.
Eh you may be right, I may end up stepping up to a newer sled next year. But Ive always been a ski doo fan, and i just dont like what im seeing from the new ones right now. Maybe they will grow on me. :gotme:
But for what i want i think my sled is fine. We’ll see how much i end up riding this winter. If its alot, i may very well upgrade. If not then no biggie I will keep what i have. Ive got 7.5 acres to buzz around on around the house if I am bored, and the trails are right out behind my yard. I dont think I will be doing any big long rides like it sounds that you do. Who knows, maybe i will though.
For now I am happy ive got a reliable and quick sled to play with while i figure out just how much i am gonna get into this every winter. Buffalo weather sucks too, I thought about getting a sled for the past few winters that i was home, but it seemed it was always warming up and screwing up the riding season. :gotme: Hopefully this season will be more rider friendly as far as weather is concerned.

I almost picked up an 04 REV, 600 with SDI and adrenaline, but I decided more debt was not ideal for me right now… lol.
AMEN, i would rip through bumpy trails without a care, barley felt the bumps while my buddys in there dinasaur sleds were takin it easy, the next day they were still sore!
i actually like the newer sleds…i have had a chance to drive a Rev platform sled as well as other…all i gotta say is REV>*
after being on my buddies blair morgan edition i felt like i was driving a geo metro when i jumped on anything else… ohh well this year a older sled will do for me…maybe in a year or two i will purchase a newer one like 03 and up
I really need to ride a REV. I’ve only heard good things about how they handle bumps. I’m sure it’s night and day difference compared to my ancient Polaris Xtra-12 suspension.
Heh, funny you just posted this. Cause i just got back from riding tonight. lol yea an 04 rev 600. My buddy has like 5 sleds in his family, so we took out an 03 and 04 rev, and his 96 arctic cat zr with a 700 he just had built and put in it. Man, you just sit so upright in that thing compared to an older sled. I like it. And the ride was awesome! Like driving a couch lol. I was very impressed to say the least. It went pretty nice too. I rode the arctic cat afterwards and needless to say theres a world of difference in how they ride. However, with that said, I think I will still be fine with my Mach 1. Its not like it will ride so horribly that i wont be able to stand it. It will be good enough for this year, but if i do alot of riding and really get into it, one of these new ski doos may very well do the trick.
Regardless, it felt great to get out again. It was my first time on a sled again in like 3 years, and it was even more fun then i remembered I never realized theres so many freakin trails right behind my house, badass!
