lol… YES!! “looks like brembo caliper” haha… that’s exactly what i was going for. I was thinking black and gold would look cool… but we’ll see… i’ll post pics once they’re on the car.

were all staring close up at a decent caliper…When their on the car with wheels they will look like a million bucks…i bet 1/10 people would have sucha interest in getting up that close to check out a painted caliper behind a wheel…It looks great…but what colours the car? cars silver/grey/black id have a black caliper with silver lettering etc etc that gold colour will go well with quite a few body colours.
The car’s black with 350z track edition rims… i guess if it doesn’t look good, i can always sand it all off and do it in another colour.

as for what enzo said, I agreed untill you said you had 350 wheels, the brakes might be a little small, the GTR ones would fit in there nicely, plus the aluminum ones have a better feel to them (clean and simple casting). But yeah, the brakes will look much better behind a wheel.
Here are mine, I had them powder coated and then scraped the letters with a file to get a nice ‘brushed’ look, and am going to apply a thin layer of high heat clear to the letters.

the gold looks very hot, lets see it on car
^see the quality of the finish, this will help resist adhession from brake dust, whereas teh paint will not have the same effect. Cleaning time owns you… I trust you use high temp paint

yea i used high temp paint… and i definetly would have prefered power coat but no funds… i’m just a kid… haha.

how did you get the nissan in red? did you just use paint brush? and what spray paint did you use? did you use high heat exhaust paint? or brake paint? or regular paint?

I used a paint brush to get the nissan part red, and both paints are high temp brake enamel. I’ll get pics of them on the car as soon as i get the new pads so i can swap em in.

looks good jon. i think there is silver moss kouki with sa3 rims, bronze calipers with red lettering on son.
i have z32 in a bare silver look, looks very sleeper :D.

JDMpanda here you go. Pics of my car with the 350z track rims. I’ll get the calipers on once i find them time to do the swap. Just gotta paint the other caliper and get some new brake pads.
