So as of Friday, I took delivery of a car from a member on the forum.
Silverstone Metallic 2000 Honda S2000. 33k miles.
Problem I am facing right now is that their is a lien on the car. It sounds like the lien holder is in CA and will take some time to get the release back. Once it is, no hesitation to get this on the road.
This is what I got so far. She still needs a wash and wax, but spent plenty enough time cleaning the interior and making it spotless.
Definitely did not try to register it… I know I need to get the Lein release with the seal of approval. One I have that, game on. haha
I have to wait for John, member on the forum… to express mail the lein holder the check to pay off his loan and put it under mine… wait for it to go through… then they mail back the release.
Shouldn’t it be possible to wire the money from his account to the lein holder in CA? Also, another way to ge the car on the road quicker would be to have them fax the lein release. Save a couple days.
Well problem is, I’ve been told that NY state and the DMV dont allow you to use faxed copies due to it not having a true seal of approval. Anyone can do a quick photoshop on a document found on the internet. just change names and other things.
Nice, You will love it…MY 2000 Just hit 28k, put about 13k on it in 5yrs of owning it. Each and every mile is enjoyable.
One mod you might want to do is the AP2 (04+ yrs) arm rest. It will run you about $300 or so shipped but IMO its worth it.

Also, try to grab a wind blocker and fill your headrest “nets” will Plexi to cut back on cabin noise.
I have signed up for the site. Definitely want to get the wind blocker. Havent looked into the meshblocking on the seats. And I’ll have to look into changing the fluid on the rear diff
You can register a car with a lien on it as I have done it before. But you are SOL (either way if you register it or not, really) if the lein holder decides to collect the car. Once you the lien release you can bring it to the dmv and submit for a new title without it.

Easy/cheap mod you can do yourself. Ofcourse you could always buy them premade too but…its a simple jobIf your looking for a second set of AP1 rims (for the track or painting a diff color) let me know.
I also might be selling my stock cut and vented hood.
BTW if your looking for a nice drop. Esplier springs on stock struts is the way to go IMO.

Looks real nice man!!! I’m interested in anything right now, but the problem is money. I have to get more saved up so I can afford to do those things. haha
As for the head rest, do you hhave a picture I can see these? And I need to find that rear deflector for the top of the glovebox. Not looking to pay $200 from ebay or more. I’d rather go without
