yes ive searched. need a shop for an alignment on a lowered bmw...

Surprised to that, they’ve done several lowered 3 series that are at least as low as your ///3.

X…

well i talked to bill or bob on the phone and he said that they wouldnt even do the alignment because i have aftermarket suspension that makes my car lower than the stock ride height.

I aligned the E30 in my garage with a tape measure and All I ever wore out were rear tires.

well wtf smartypants come do my car <3

Ya I know techs at Towne BMW and they definitely do lowered cars as long as it fits on the rack. You could also take up Josh’s offer of going hand in hand to Licatas haha.

Chris how has your alignment been? Mine’s still perfect  Licatas sucks though

Call back and ask for Adam. I used to work there and did alignments on several lowered cars. As long they can get it on the rack, it shouldn’t be a problem.

Ya my alignment is great. Although with the weather I haven’t been driving my car too much lately, which sucks. I love driving this thing.

Let us know how it goes today Walker.

I need to get an alignment on an e39 m5, stock ride height. I just called Towne, the first person I spoke with said $130, I asked if since I have an account with them (I have a dealership/shop just no alignment rack) I also received any help on service, so he transferred me to someone else. And the second guy said $179.95. And they’re not taking appointments until Tuesday.

What were the results of this? Chris where did you go? I seem to remember something about Fox.

Who is this and where does he work?

Hoping to get it done Friday or Saturday

Its times like these that make me not miss riding around on BCs in the old corolla. Good luck walker, let us know what you end up doing! Sounds like Licatas may be you’re best/easiest best.

lol im not the one who needs help.
Andre was the one who bumped this up for his m5 issue
this thread is 14 months old.
plus not only do i live in california now but i sold this m3 to “IanK” last sept

i think licatas is good for this but i think there are a few guys that work at good year on the board that will do a good job

Well, that’s what I get for browsing on my cell. Tapatalk, you boned me again lol.

Looks like both of my options fell through.

Any other suggestions? Hoping to get it done Saturday

I only let Eksten align my cars - many people I race with feel the same way.

Looking for something in the Buffalo area please

Little Speed Shop in Rochester

I took my lowered 328i to Southtown Tire in Colden a few weeks ago and it turned out fine. They got it as close as they could (ran out of camber adjustment on the stock towers), straightened the wheel out and corrected the toe issue.

They didnt’ bat an eye when I asked if they could align an lowered BMW.

All you need is 2 people and a tape measure. Works 100% of the time.
