300 is all you can get out of an 18G? You can push over 300 easy on a 16G…

I trust jay when he said I think that is about it.

it is a greddy housing and turbo trim so it is different than the 18g you think of

i think it still has some more in it, but with the torque falling off the way it does, it is definitely reaching its efficiency limit. you gotta remember too, this is sammy’s daily driver, i really don’t want to push it to it’s limit and risk blowing it up. with the way it is set up now, it’s just really fun to drive, you don’t have to push it to 8K rpms to feel it. i dig it…

Like I said tonight on the phone it is definatly more powerful than last year…maybe late summer when you have some time and I have some extra cash we will put some race gas in it and see what it does but for now it is perfect really.

peak torque early and stays pretty flat but does fall off. and at 8k it still feels like it is pulling.

the motor and IC were definatly heat soaked with just the dyno fan on it but that is the hardest conditions it will ever run under so the # is just what it says on paper. on the road it feels like more than 309whp that is for sure. from the research I did the most anyone ever made on that turbo from greddy at 24psi and race gas was 346whp so I think it is right where is should be and even if it isn’t it is still a handful for me.

I am waiting for awhile. maybe if I am not broke over winter but that is doubtful. the winter of 06 is more likely
