I’m sure some boat shoes and v-neck in SD with a E46 M3 would be very sufficent.

I’m in much the same boat, always looking for something like this. the E46M3 is the best choice and you can buy one in the fall and unload in the spring for break even possibly.

Love my E36 vert, but as a toy + summer car. I would also want something newer for the winter (hence my A3 + stg II)

You mention E90 330… sounds like a hard to find car that isn’t really worth searching for. I’m pretty sure that car was a 2006 only, and it’s not as great as it seems. I would opt for a lower mileage E46 330 to stay withing your budget, and sill have a “realiable” car.
