I did my brakes yesterday. Wicked easy job (posibly cause I didnt have to replace me e brake shoes) but any who the front pads were shot almost no material at all. So when I put everything back together the caliper hadn’t really retracted all the way and while I was driving the pad was contacting the rotor and heating it up. This lead to burning all the WD-40 and stuff of the caliper bracket and what not.
So im driving along and a cop flies up pulls me over runs up to me and is like your cars on fire get out of the car and step away. I was like umm no its not I just did the brakes the pads are so fat they are contacting the rotor and smoking… He was kinda embarassed and pissed that i made him look like an idiot. He then proceeds to go “oh well you inspection is expired”. I’m like yeah cause my brakes failed…I have an appointment wednesday at 3:30 at mohawk honda. Cop goes “oh well heres your ticket for no inspection”. Your car sounds really nice though

I’m pretty sure if i show up in court with my receipt for the appointment which was dated before the ticket and the receipt for the inspection actually getting done the judge will drop it.
I also have proof that the car was just put back on the road. You know I really haven’t had many dickbag cops in my car. I had one pull me over with the 5zigen exhaust once but i think that was mainly cause he saw me leave my house which at the time was under surveillance cause drug dealers lived in the back
it was nice out so i washed and then hand waxed the car. Mothers carnuba cleaner wax then meguiars gold class.
Wow was the old wax disgusting. My car is so nice now and all one color

That’s not low enough. Smash your exhaust flat to give you another inch drop. What do you have for suspension anyway?
JZA80 supra tokicos and vogtland springs and rubber boot spacers. the vogtlands are a 2" drop on the supra supra shocks are a 1.5" drop on the SC so add that up and its 3.5 inches. the tokicos i bought also have a semi adjustable spring perch. in two placesi haave never seen that before. I bought them used and they are black but the stamp on them says tokico
