Yea thats pretty insane…now I know those stands are probably very sturdy but just looking at that all I can think is they are going to fall in.
love the jackstands
:popc:
Wow. Wish I had a team like that in my garage lol.
Same here. That blonde girl is pretty good looking and can turn a wrench.
wow they would make good flat rate workers
rally team mechanics are no joke!
Helps when you can drop a halfshaft on your S12b in under 20 seconds
you better step ur game up! hahaha j/k :hug its crazy though. crazy fast. im STILL impressed by the APR team, when they swapped out a FLAMING hot turbo trackside in minutes.
@ rally NY this car a team had one of that type jack stands fall over and pin a team member under the car.
ooooh! wow. is that person okay?
If they’re built and installed right they’re nearly impossible to knock over, but shit always does happen. Pin stands are really meant for hard level surfaces, plus if they were not fabbed with a layback angle they can be pretty unstable.
Biggest fear with cars = getting pinned under one like that
im also scared of gettin pinned under one. theyre MUCH heavier than my ribcage can support.
I almost got killed by my blazer. Had a generic 2 ton floor jack. Had the back jacked up, I hear a crack, jump back and the truck just slams to the ground onto the brake drum. Broke the front “axle” of the jack and it tipped over sideways. I havent worked on it since. I guess thats what happens when you add an extra ton to the back end of the truck
thats called pulling a Travis, i believe. at least in these ranks.
No, it’s called Darwinism trying to pull you from this planet for not using jack stands
^^ That too!
Yeah, I was a dumb ass and didnt think things through. Just wanted to see how bad it was going to be to change out the blown air bag
