The Z06 is a supercar. It wil outperform most exotics. It is very different from a run of the mill Corvette. It is somewhat exclusive (I’ve only seen 2 or 3 on the road), aluminum frame, dry sump oiling, huge brakes, titanium connecting rods, wider rear end, more aggressive styling, etc.

I actually despise new GM cars, but the Z06 is a bad ride.

wow I see 2-3 a day. Its like seeing Evo’s. I actually see more z06’s than STi’s around here.

in my opinion you guys are getting too caught up in the ‘name’. for the performance the new Z puts out, i cant see how it isnt considered a supercar…is it an exotic? no not really, but if its not a supercar then i cant see how you can call a 911 turbo, viper, f430 supercars when thats the cars in its performance catagory…its just cause its a ‘vette’ so it cant be considered one, even though its as good or better…doesnt make much sense to me

I don’t consider those three to be super cars. The 430 and 911 are def exotics though.
