Held at Fontana Village Resort, at Deals Gap NC in the Smokey Mountains. Many mountain roads to drive, including “The Tail of the Dragon” (US129) and “Hellbender” (28). This is the fourth annual event, fun driving, old friends, great parties. Took me 12 hours to get there, only 10 to come back via a new route (40>81>77>19>79…you know the rest…f driving thru columbus and cinci) I went a few days early to enjoy driving the roads before the crowd got there for the weekend. There were a few casualties (one biker dead, one wrecked pretty badly had to be airlifted, one 300ZXTT totalled, one miata totalled, one 350Z in a ditch but unscathed and that is all that I personally know of) You def have to know your limits on these roads.
