Honestly,
My sister has a rabbit. I love the thing.
Have driven it a bit only thing that bugged me was the way the revs hang between shifts.
I think I would spend the few extra bills and get the gti.
But if I were buying something new it would be rabbit.gti.mazda 3.
The 5 cyl sound kinda awesome with exhaust. just sayin’
Have you looked into this thing:
http://www.suzukiauto.com/sx4_crossover/
if you find an 08, there is 0%, and they have been getting decent reviews. I really want to take one for a spin and see if I like it.
FWIW both problems are fixed in the 08.
It is the “coolest car under $18,000.”
what do you think he used to go get the elise?
“Most affordable and most fuel efficient car in America” LIARS!:banghead:
it’s also 30,000 dollars.
I don’t want to spend that much. At all.
truth
Well I just got off the phone with the dealer and it looks like by this weekend I will have a nice 02 E39 for sale lol. It is being replaced by another 02 E39. WAT!?!?!
GL with that, 9/10 sales call dont go the same way as the appointment…
why not?
Will they ever lock in on a trade value via pics?
I sent them this ebay link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEUSX:IT&item=110315526244
and they quoted me 21.
Do you think they’re going to try and get me in the door and then lower that number substantially? How can i lock into that number via email…
sorry man but i highly doubt it… They know once your there you dont want to leave w/o buying something new
In those pics your cars looks amazing especially the paint but they will pick apart anything they can to lower the value and gain some profit back such as things you cant see in the pics… tires/brakes/oil/interior scuffs or stains/cost of reconditioning (detailing)…
BUT HERES WHAT YOU TELL THEM IF THEY DO LOWER YOUR TRADE VALUE!!!
-Say look i didnt come in here asking you to lower the price of your vehicle even more i am standing behind our deal, and i would expect you to do the same. Thats if you were satisfied with your deal over the phone/online/whatever it was. If not, try to leave you’ll get your deal!
yeah, most local appraisals seem to be about 19,500 ish. But i want to ensure that i’m locked in, i can probably sign a buyer’s agreement in advance?
lol no because then if you were add say 20k to your car before trading it in out smashing your car up they would still be responsible for buying from you
NOT TRUE.
There is a clause on buyer’s orders that the vehicle’s trade worth is contingent on the vehicle being in the same condition that it was appraised at or described, or if the market value changes because of the condition of said trade.
Two examples:
Guy brings his F-150 in for trade and has coincidentally hit a deer the prior evening. We took the repair bill off of the appraisal value.
Guy agrees to trade in Chevy Silverado SS for $2X,XXX. Vehicle he is purchasing needs to be located through another dealer. No dealer’s have it, so he sits on the deal for a couple months until selling dealership allocates one from another dealer. Gas crisis hits, and the market value of his truck brings his trade down substantially. He can either take it or leave it. He gets all pissed off and decides to sue selling dealership. Loses horribly.
Sorry but that makes no sense… Deals/rebates change every month so how can “he sit on it for months”? Unless he signed the deal then drove in a loaner car for months until his new vehicle showed up, then if they tried backing out i would also sue.
He didn’t “sit on it” for months. He gave a deposit for the dealership to locate the vehicle. It took a couple months to get the vehicle. Dealer gets the car, and he comes to get it.
Are you a lot kid, or do you really sell cars? <3333
did he get his deposit back?
