01 Trans Am

4L60e’s don’t need a shift kit, you might as well just save your money. If you are having it built, sure, but otherwise just run it until it fails. (which it will eventually)

idk if u can count a 6cyl, or if ud even want ppl to kno! :huglol as far as im concerned id say 4th gens are the only ones ud want ppl to kno u had, so with saying that ive owned 2 lol(but i did love my 87 trans am)

i have had almost 20 lololol

What was the guy askin for it do you remember? An older guy traded it in for a v6 challenger i mean i understand an srt8 but a friggan 6 cyl wtf haha

I have had my 95, 98 and 01. So all 4th gens.

and my previous V6 beat stock ls1’s…

so what happened to this one ??? lol

:ohnoes

lol just playn!

3k stall. 150 shot. tune. and a set of drag radials :stuck_out_tongue:

fixed.

10 second combo right there…

4k stall . that car would move nicely

LS1 motors LOVE a really high stall. If you go with a 2800-3200 it will do the job, but you will always wish you went bigger. I made that mistake… TCI Street Fighter, I only paid $250 shipped though.

t.c.i is junkkkkkk . such a loose conv if ya want a great inexpensive conv go thru edge thats who did mine . i have a 4.5k in mine and i could drive it every day on it . its nice and tight but when ya want it to open up and go she is more than happy to oblige

tight is good…until you beat it up.

That car isnt stock. It’s lowered and has some c6 rims on there what else is done if your calling the car stock

Looks good btw.

I’ve got a 99 formula. I’ll seeya around maybe at Lebanon valley this year.

My converter isn’t loose at all. My only complaint is the weak lock-up clutch… and that its for a 4L60e. :lol

its not lowered. It has 8" of wheel gap

It’s better than your wheel gap. I mean, come on… JUST LOOK AT IT. -----------v

gay^

car is lowered its just sitting all crooked in that pic giving the rear some gappige…factory looking gappige, front is tuckkkked

I don’t know what the brand was that was in my car, but it was a 3800 and was way too loose for me to enjoy driving around on the street. Based on the quality of the other speed parts on the car I would say it was probably the cheapest thing the guy could get. If I were going to go with a bigger converter again I definetly wouldn’t do more the 3200, but I also use the car as a summer daily.
