02 audi a4 aftermarket cams???

a friend of mine wants to put some aftermarket cams in his car. where can i go to research or buy the parts for it??
also need to find a down pipe, uppipe and anything else for this car.

Why would you even go that route?

cams are most definately the LAST thing you want to do on those motors. Seriously. He’ll lose power on stock turbo, they’re just that ghey.
But… if he’s serious… cat cams 3652’s w/an adjustable cam gear dialed back a couple degrees… if he made any power up top that combo would net him about 50 more 6.5k and up. But he doesn’t so it will be a waste.
guess its off the cam adjusters so he figured while he was in there just replace shit. im only trying to help him out by asking. from what i see camshafts are 500 to 600:purextc:

Just don’t do it.
Software, cat-back, high-flow cat, larger turbo, in that order. Everybody else has already tried to think out of the box on these, and 99 out of 100 of them have failed.

As H said…how are they off? If they’re off on the intake to exhaust chain, then simply fix it. If crank to cam belt timing is off, simply fix it.
