But yes going reverse at about 40 down central then lighting the tires up is correct hint the reason i blew the tranny up in the first mk3, but i was NEVER drunk. my motor makes 160 base so with header intake exaust its awfully close to 190-200BHP
ok…stock v6 camaros make 200hp and 225tq…they only put down around 165-180 depending on how healthy…5 spds. obv. made a little bit more power since their was less drivetrain loss…but this did not result in faster 1/4 mile times over the auto…and they weigh nearly 3400lbs stock…it depends on what rear end gears he runs…a 5 spd 3.8 with 3.42’s should run high 15’s all day bone stock with a skilled driver…but mostly they wont get out of the 16’s. I had all those mods before i went turbo and my car was still not a 14 second car…hell, i dont even think it was a low 15 second car…and i had aftermarket 3.73’s and stuff…at best, with those mods he will see low 15’s…he will not see 14’s what so ever and he does NOT have 270hp…the 3.8 series 2 compression ratio in the f-bodys were kinda low 9:2:1 which is what makes the motor great for FI…the only way to make decent power on them, is a big N20 shot…or FI…and 95% of the supercharger guys dont even break 300whp mark.
