ive already been discussing the topic in another post but i made a new one over here for more to see. ive got another 1.8 8v bottem end im gonna over haul and hopefully seen get into my jetta. the motors been sitting for awhile as a whole i tore it down and 3 of the cylinder walls have like a rusty sediment on them in places. If i were to just hone them out alil, would i be alright with just replacing the rings, which im also looking for, for less than $60. Moneys tight and rides are hard to find. so im building quickly with straws and toothpicks tring to get my car moving again. :burnout:
