1080 hp n/a ls1

??

details?

Race motor!?

yay!

Still a 5.7?

What exactly makes that motor an LS1?

In theory an LS1 is a 5.7L with a bore of 3.898 (rounded to 3.9) and a stroke of 3.622 Anything else is an LS based motor to me, if you change the bore and stroke, or are using an LSX block I would no longer call it an LS1

wow, love big power n/a motors

430 cubes
marcella intake
edelbrock Splayed Valve , curtis boggs ported at rfd
2 4500 carbs by dale cubic
bryant crank
grp rods
.937 key way lifters
jesel rockers
jesel belt drive

Ehhh, it could make more power if you wanted…jk jk sick build there good luck with it

dyno? video? anything to prove these claims? im not doubting, just would like a lil bit more detail.

dosent this have like 15-8-1 compression or something crazy like that??

I thought the SAM car made the same power last year? It was real high compression too.

over 2.53 hp/cube
it might be taking some advantages

judd did 1033 last year with 2 tbs but ran with one making about 1020 for the weight break, but he was still at 3500race weight went 8.58.

So its a race motor making race motor numbers

exciting

Similar mustang build: 16:1 440 making 1080hp, runs 8.3@161. Best part is it’s a 95 cobra R(1 of 250).

I thought I remember a crazy modular SN-95 that was over 1000hp, which is insane because it had WAY less displacement.

Sweet build though, cool that you will see it in person.

That’s fucking awesome. Motor gets it done
