its not there to cover a semester of school, its there to help pay for it Jam, its free money, and saves youa lot of interest in the long run
great, thats awesome, all im trying to say is $1000 towards school is not worth the misery you have to endure by being an employee of wegmans…
who are you anyway?
nothing compared to fathers day '04. They ordered too many lobsters. Like 250lbs too many lobsters.
We didnt sell shit. So the day after, im working and the manager calls me on the dept phone.
her: “ummm yeah, so we have far too many lobsters”
me: “oh”
her: “why dont you and the guys take care of it”
me: “ok, but were gonna need some butter back here”
So I called my boizz over in the meat dept, and informed them of the situation. Likewise, they informed me they had too many fillet mignons.
We decided to combine forces, into one ultimate surf and turf dinner derby. I cooked the lobsters, someone else cooked the steaks. I think alone, I ate 6 lobsters and 2 fillets. It ruled so hard…
here we go again…
when you applied did you wear respectable attire? AT LEAST khakis and a polo shirt, tucked in? did you speak up and use english, yes sir, no sir, please thank you. did your appl have scribbles and crossouts and shitty handwritting? did you respectfully follow up to these applications/interviews? did you write “im good with automobiels FOR MY AGE” on the apps?
i really dont need to ask you anything because you’ve already proved my point on newyorkfbody.
And if the one shop wont hire you because you are an insurance liablity, do you think any other shop is going to take that risk?
You are 16 with no license, you dont have many choices, you gotta pick the same shitty jobs everyone else had when they were 16.
this is completely unnecessary. I also dont think its appropriate and makes the person look ackward.
not true. The people that think outside the box get ahead.
hahha so true. Do that with cops. Not with potential part time job employers…
such a great game.I almost want to go buy it again
Emulaters my friend, just steal it…
I worked mcdonalds for 2 years. 15-17. suck it up and get an income
good luck getting something good at 16… i can think of a summer job that wouldnt be bad… bus tables at Dock at the Bay. I did that when i was 17 for a summer… on avg i made around $15 an hour thanks to tips (so you mostly get cash straight up). You have to actually do work but get in tight with the outdoor cooks and you get free food…get in with the bar backs and you get free bottles.
I hope you’re being somewhat serious…I was a paper boy from 10-16…it allowed me to buy a nice car when I was 15. I liked it. Work less than an hour a day, no boss bitching at you left and right. Collecting once a week sucks, but whatever.
Tops Supermarket…
but really, now is the worst time to get a job in retail if you want to go that way. The holidays past and these are the slowest months right now. I have a friend trying to find a job right now, and she had no luck but Wal-mart.
good luck
edit: be a paper boy and a penny saver boy.
delta sonic will hire you if you’re 16.
and, the pizzeria i used to work at had 14 year olds working there before.
