Hows it going, this is my first post here, just thought I’d give you a taste of what the modified car scene is like down under in New Zealand. The market for cars and modifications here is getting pretty huge now. I’m a silvia convert myself, here’s some pics of my rs13 200sx and new rps13 180sx type x. The type x is factory standard apart from an HKS Super Dragger, HKS mushy filter.
Nothing much more to add, feel free to ask about any differences our cars may have to yours.
ok, I’ll try to explain. the rs13 was called a 180sx in Japan (JDM) and came out with a ca18det until about 1991 then a red top sr20det (rps13) thereafter. They are badged 200sx in New Zealand, England and Australia as far as I know and It’s more difficult to get them with the sr20det. Kind of ironic that the 180 has a 2000cc engine and the 200 has an 1800cc engine…
‘p’ in the model name identifies that it has a sr20 engine.
ie. rs13 = the red one above
rps13 = the white one above
s13 = s13 silvia with ca18de/det
ps13 = s13 silvia with sr20det
The Type x on the other hand only came out in Japan, and is a little bit harder to come by, along the same lines as a genuine sileighty.
