on an S13… I wont need extended studs or anything will I? maybe a slight pull in the back?
Offset is 32 which Is kinda high I know.
Tire wise I was thinking of
18x7.5
225/40 18
18x9.5
245/35 18
No spacers

That’s so stupid… 225 on a 9.5"… poser. And 18s too…
:picard:
is offset -32 or +32? i’m guessing +32. You wont need a fender pulling or spacers or extended studs. They should be sunken on all 4 corners. You’ll have to rid the front of your fender liners though if you’re fitting 18s on.
i just test fitted 7.5j +25 offset and it sat flush last night.
no biggie there… as for the tire sizes. the 7.5 I havn’t figured out the best size…looking at it now It was what I was looking at if I were to get the 18x8.5… Maybe just get a 10mm spacer on all four to get it close to flush?
Reason being is I know that I would need extened studs to fit the 18x8.5 up front… Atleas tthat’s what I’ve heard.
7.5 is weakkk, don’t touch that
ah especially for a 18 inch rim… dont go with anything below 8 lol or else it will look like one of those import tuner model cars with the narrow wheels lol
yeah, but i’m trying to have somthing I can put some rubber and bolt up on my car without all the hastle of pulling, and attaching extended studs, etc. =/
if its x7.5 +32 then gg u gna be sunken battleship still…
most conservative ppl rock stock body x9 +20 (my suggestion for u)
in which a x7.5 wuld be +5 lol
and once u have camber like me… its still sunken in the front. but then again u can always flush the offsets using spacers that may cost more then the rims
Why do you keep bringing up extended studs? And rolling fenders is not a hassle, it’s very, very easy.
thats what its going to look like… pure sunk’n battleship status (thats what i was refering to in my previous post) lol. even if your going to get a deal on those wheels… i would save up and get some nice proper wheels for your 240
get 9.5 all around 10mm spacers run 225’s
roll n pull em and lower it till it cant go down anymore.
just my two cents
LOL i have the same car
Ill agree 9.5 all round…
I was under the impression I would need extended studs if I rocked rims x8 - 9.5
not necessarily it really depends on the wheel itself. i have enkei’s and they need extended studs becasue of the way it is made and they are only 16x7 and 16x8.
WTF: Have you guys even run a 18x7.5+32? Let alone an 18x9.5 +32?
The 9.5 will need a pull.
The 7.5 will need a 6-10mm spacer and with the 10mm spacer, you’ll want extended studs.
most times all those cheap offsets dont even clear coilovers lol
Just to clear things up Trutrax, if you’re not running spacers, stud length is not affected by rim width and offset.
the only part of a wheel that will make contact with the studs is around the wheel hub, so depending on your wheel design, extended studs are only necessary if the wheel hub is too thick (distance from the bottom of the lug nut seat to the back mounting surface of the wheel hub), or if you plan on running spacers.
ah alright. Thanks Kimmerkaze.
Quite a few differing opinions on the wheel sizes though, that’s for certain. hah
18x7.5 +32 is weak, 18x9.5 +32 isnt the best either but will do. are these sportmaxx wheels (XXR)? they sound like it by the size. do they come in an 8.5 for the front? or even run the 9.5 all around if your set on having these specific wheels.
