White gives it a brighter look, which really helps the place pop. I agree that in some places, leaving it a more natural color would look nice too though.
Wire lights are going bye bye.
Backsplash is stainless steel behind the cooktop and hood.
Sure enough. Between the lighting and my “specialness” it looked plastic to me.
That front room with all the windows looks like a pretty awesome place to lounge.
Arts&Crafts is a big spectrum. This house is very similar to a “FourSquare”.
I love it!
 Really like it. My wife would kill for that bookcase. When I re-do our downstairs something similar will be going in.
And mowing will take about 5 minutes.
SO GOOD!
Nice dude, congrats. I close in less than 3 weeks. :noes:

PS - get your shit together and lets hang soon.
Great house, can’t wait to see progress. Please get rid of the paint and let the beauty of the wood come back into the house
White trim is staying. I like it, and it would be a nightmare to strip down.
this was a really silly question.
looks awesome dude, they dont make em like they used to. i grew up in a house that was built in 1906, big old victorian. really cool, but my dad was ALWAYS working on it. i hope your ready for the joys of 100 year old home ownership haha. good luck!!
I wouldn’t say that I love it, but I am fairly handy with the tools. I’m excited to be picking up a Router and Planer soon. Looking to start working with some reclaimed lumber.
Cool house, would look great with a tanish colored exposed aggregate driveway
Big ballin. I have been going through Buffalo Re-Use to find a bunch of ideas for my place. I like what you got there and the area is great. Congrats.
You made your last place pretty awesome, this’ll be really interesting. Congrats. and good luck.
