1986 200sx ... SR20DET

Hey guys,

Do you know if a 1986 non-turbo 200sx (RWD) can easily fit an SR20DET? And if so, what are the parts needed?

The 84-88 200SX was actually available with 3 motors:

• CA18ET 1.8 turbo SOHC (120hp)
• CA20E 2.0 SOHC 4 cylinder (102hp)
• VG30E 3.0 SOHC V6 (160hp)

The SR20DET was never offered in the S12 chassis. Swapping is possible, but it would require some custom fabbing (ie engine mounts, drive shaft, electronics, etc). However the S12 did get another famous Nissan motor (in Japan at least): The FJ20 & FJ20ET

Ya dont the KA24E, KA24DE, SR20DET, SR20DE, CA18DET all have the same mounts?

but what about CA18ET and CA18DET?

the CA18ET was never put in any S13
