I’ll just be happy to fix the fuel pump so it runs…lol

:facepalm

Sick!!! How’s the head gasket situation on it?
I think I have extra fuel pump relays and some other stock stuff probably. Maybe even a fuel pump, but will have to check around the garage. I might have chucked it :frowning:
Let me know if you can find out what is wrong with it and what parts you need and I’ll dig.

Poking around quick this evening I checked the relay and I have power in and out so I am leaning towards pump. Need to check for power to the pump itself this weekend. Head gasket is good.

I would just get the Walboro and do the 12v mod. Super easy and lots of documentation on Supramania. You will have to drop the tank, though. I also have a brand new fuel filter that you can have. They are pricey, but its been sitting around for awhile and not doing me any good.

Do you know when the head was re torqued or serviced? It is only a matter of time if it hasn’t been addressed. Toyota didn’t torque the head studs correctly from the factory.

Head was taken care of a couple years ago. Car wasn’t driven much and has been sitting at least a year. I am sure I will need to replace a bunch of parts from not being used. The tires are completely dry rotted. All the vacuum lines, fuel lines and hoses look good. Kinda concerned about the idle control as the car was missing before the fuel issue came up.

Whats the 12v mod?

This should get you going with the fuel issue anyway. I’m not too familiar with the 7mgte, but if you ever go 1jz, that would be another story!

Hmmmm…motor weighs 30lbs less than my 426…might have to take a few measurements…lol

Boxersix did a bunch of fab work for me last month, including a sweet custom exhaust.
ECU was causing many issues, so I sent it away to have the capacitors replaced and she runs much better!
Need to change the oil, trans oil, and rear diff oil and she’ll be good to run. Power steering pump is on its way out, so I’ll have to do that eventually.

Just an update - The car is on the road and I’ve taken it to work and back, around Watervliet, and Latham!

Going to put 440cc injectors in and hook up the Emanage soon I think!
