1994 camaro Speedometer issue

I have a question for you, f-body guys. I took my 1994 Camaro z28 out for the first time yesterday and realized my speedometer isnt working nor is the odometer. Ive been reading about possibly a loose connection on the VSS? From what ive read the signal goes from the vss to the PCM then to the dash. So i figured i would start at the VSS, but im not too sure where it is located, so if anybody could point me in the right direction that would be awesome.
Thanks,
Jimmy

its on the transmission… is it auto or manual trans?

its a cylinder shaped aluminum colored peice with a black eletrical connection

in the tail of the trans its a round plug on the side . its just in front of the tailshaft seal . im betting its in the speedo cluster itself though

Thanks for the help guys, both the wires coming from the plug were busted. Spliced them back together and now everything is working properly.

I actually had to cut and lengthen mine for 4L60 -> T56 swap. Soldered and heat shrink. Hope it holds up. I hate crawling under there. Makes me wish I had a TBSS or Silverado instead. LOL
