shit’s not workin son.

sounds great

fixed.

That thing sounds bad ass.

i put some delta super 44 flowmasters on instead of the lm2 glass packs. very happy i did so. also very happy im making as much power as i am with the biggest pulley i can fit on the blower. ill try and get some videos that dont suck this weekend weather permitting. last night was the first time a second person was ever in the car, ha.

thanks for the compliments!

What kind of tial valve is on it?

I’m not a mustang guy, so sorry if these are stupid questions. Is this motor like the 5.0 from a fox body or is a “mod” motor? What was your total budget minus the engine, you can pm me if you want. Just asking because I’m comtemplating the 5.0 swap into my e36. I guess the 5.0 and 351w both fit, but the mod motors don’t because they’re wider by alot.

Car sounds badass, must be a shit load of fun to drive.

its gotta tial q 50mm bov. but on blower cars theyre open all the time, so its stupid loud except for when im on it.

yeah this a 4.6 dohc mod motor. very different than a sbc. the blower kit, diy intercooler, and fuel system, not including the calibration sw was probly like 3k. if youre going with a 302, then definitely go single turbo.

mod motor. Mod = Modular… OHV.

You can make silly power with a stroked 5.0 or a 351W … they all work well.

sounds nasty!!!

thanks choda! ill have to pick your brain about suspension/tire setups one of these days i see you at the track. that’s rapidly becoming my biggest concern, i gotta lot to learn with this stuff. thankfully my goals are relatively lack-luster. 17" drag radials + 10.XX.

I’ll be disappointed with anything more than single digit times.

that sounds fantastic

Sounds like Darth Vader queefing… fucking evil dude!

Coming along good. Sounds nice. Can’t wait to line up with this car next year, hard to find another clear and quick sn-95 around here

Didnt get much done to the car this winter as i was busy helping my father with his gto tvs blower install, made 500+ at new era last friday. it made 507 on the next pull. his other intake only A4 gto made 350/350. makes me wanna buy an lsx.

I did get my belt issue fixed with a dayco laser leveler after travisn was kind enough to take off 3/32" off the alt pulley

Gunna put a few more miles on it while i save up for long tubes and then pulley down and recalibrate.

Edit ill try and fix the pics when im not posting from my friggin phone. fixed

put about 60 miles on it last night. still pegging the maf. idk where my extra 60hp came from. good problem to have.

I helped too!!!

long time since updates!

i have a lot of pictures that i need to upload, but my gnex cant upload straight to picasa. where is the jb update?! but since the spring i have:

installed 2.9" pulley. thanks travis.
installed 24x12x4 FMIC
installed ARH 1 3/4 long tubes.
installed BA3000 maf into 4" maf housing.
installed rebuilt 8.8 with a functioning trak loc and 3.73
purchased 255 50 r 17 nitto invos. 27.1" tall. seen a few G8s cut 1.6x short times on em, i was hoping for 1.7ish.

ended up getting a tune from Adam Marrow of Pops racing. very pleased with his calibration abilities! my MAF is pegged, again, at about 6.3k rpm. so i have a maf rated for 750+ whp thats measuring ~82#/min of flow til it runs out of range… my stock fuel rails are not keeping up on 1st and 2nd gear either. So i just purchased everything i need to run the upgraded rails from summit ten minutes ago. and on an equally shitty note, my clutch slips. i went to the track last wednesday hoping to rip off some low 11 times on my street tires, but every run the clutch slipped pretty badly. sigh. i installed a spec stg 1, rated for 550hp or so. i did this so that if i made too much power the clutch would slip as opposed to breaking stock t45 number two. so now i need to upgrade my clutch and trans. not sure what direction id like to go, t56, tko or a built t5. the t5 is the lightest by quite a bit, and can still take the power.

lots of progress but lots of hurdles too. i can drive around town and its fun. the setup kisses 18psi @ 6.3k rpm. when everything is done it should be 20ish at 7k.
