6 grand only if you’re retarded enough to pay that for the greddy kit. Those with a desire for speed and power and mechanical abilities won’t be paying 6 grand for better results.
350Z
shame on him then…the only silver 350z’s I’ve seen round here were like 60 somethings…OH wait…did it have smoked out tails, and tint all around, aftermarket exhaust? One guy that works around me IS a total tool read: hammerhead, if he was a cartoon he’d have a hammer protruding from his skull…:dunno:
On the TT 350z…yes it will cost you like over $6G’s…even if you have mechanical abilities and know your way round the engine bay…the bottom end is just not built enough to stand the boost…the VQ35DE has got to be modified to the HILT to stand it…I have researched it and read up and bantered back and forth…bottom line IMHO…it’s not worth the $ IMO to do this…I mean, even the fuel rails have got to be replaced whether you are FI or not, above 300 hp, they are not designed for it. (on the non-anniversary editions w/ 287 hp…) There are many many guys and gals that have gone ahead and gone FI w/ the 350z and gone craZy, tuned, untuned, and kaboom, assuming you are not being a kitty cat w/ the boost To rebuild, figure in the cost of the FI to begin with, rebuilding is costing them upwards and above $15K? Worth it? NO!
That being said, I love my Z…boost or no boost, she’s mine and a keeper! Only ~2000 of them in my color…
well u could get more if u build the internals.that 400hp is only at 8.5psi them kits are good for 22psi so i bet it could lay down at least 550
don’t bet on it tray…although I’ve seen a 350Z TT w/ 650 rwhp, but that biach was built TIGHT! And they sunk a TON of $$$ into it…
i like jinxys car and color but if i went that way , id get an infiniti coupe
i am partial to the mustang
what dealer are you ordering thru?
did you look into the insurance difference between the 2? because i saw in a previous post about the 350 z being a 2 seater and that typically means sports car and more $$
Tom Clark Ford
My insurance is pretty cheap on the mustang, Im sure the z wouldnt be too much more.
My ins isn’t that bad, but one thing to consider IS that it is a 2 seater. There is a ton of room in the hatch, you can fit 2 sets of golfclubs and a weekender bag and a cooler in there, but not much else. I can fit all my crap from shopping at Wal*Mart back there…but there is no back seat to put anything in…something to consider if you usually have to carry a lot of stuff around.
