***2009 BUFFALO BILLS SEASON THREAD*** Poll is up until after Game 1!!!

I am tired and have read that 9 times

What are you W T F ing?

oh. i didn’t hear about it. i think it’s stupid, obviously

If they give up 2 reg. season games a year to T.O. then I would have to say that they might as well go up there full time.

6 regular season games is simply not enough to justify having a team.

So having 2/3 of the games is worse than have 0/3 of the games being played here? I don’t really understand this logic.

OTAs start today

6/8=3/4

That only says that other people are showing interest in sending more games up there, it doesn’t mean it’s close to happening. We’re in a contract for the next 4 years to play 1 per year.

The logic is simply that if they dont want to be here for the long haul…cut them off now.

That massive stadium goes relatively unused except for 9 weekends a year.

Doesnt seem worth all the $ for upkeep for a franchise that doesnt seem committed to staying in WNY.

T.O. skips first voluntary workout with Bills

Posted: Around The Web | NFL.com Staff | Tags: Buffalo Bills, Dick Jauron, Terrell Owens

Terrell Owens signed a one-year deal with the Bills for a second, third another chance. Then he promptly skipped the Bills first voluntary workout of the season. And there’s the rub. The Bills’ workout was voluntary, but the need to repair his image is not.

Then again, maybe there is no way T.O. can repair his image. And maybe he could get a better workout in his driveway.

How many other guys skipped the VOLUNTARY workouts too?

T.O. is not in a negative light for this.

Noone cares that he isnt here.

HE shouldn’t be skipping them :stuck_out_tongue: altho did anyone really think he would change anyways? nah…

Why shouldnt he be skipping a voluntary workout in March???

Get me a list of all the other players that didnt show.

i’d like to see him get off on the right foot with edwards personally… and i have no idea who didn’t show i just pasted it from nfl.com guy

Well its a bullshit conditioning/strength training workout.

No plays…No timing routes…no catching TD’s…NO CARE!

ok ok fine haha

Jay you are smart enough to know its just the media trying to give the guy a bad wrap.

Then it will be debated on shows and blogs will be written.

Who cares…the guy is in incredible physical shape…always has been

so… we’re playing the pats on the season opener for MNF…

yea, TO won’t get us ANY extra attention in league eyes.

Its a T.O. / Brady love fest :frowning:

not complaining… $$$ for ralph.

to bad the game is in NE

The logic is that this isn’t even a serious thought by anyone, it’s a survey. There are almost no upkeep costs during the off season. They have 4 workers that keep the trash out and the parking lots clear of garbage, other than that it’s whatever needs to be fixed right before the season starts.

Having two games in Toronto, which is essentially a cash cow, is something that could help the team stay in Buffalo. The team can’t increase revenue here and props to Ralph for looking elsewhere.

The reality is that nobody in Canada is going to cough up the cash if that is what you are worried about. A New stadium is around a billion and the team will be another billion. They will not get enough private buyers or government funding for that.

ANd if you think they would use the dome, they won’t. That is a horrible setup for football which was the major complaint for the games last year.
