I think you are jumping the gun on the TO garbage eMKay. A better comparison would be people are assholes on this site but are decent in person. TO is a prick when it comes to football by a decent guy with non football related things.

The logic is simply that if they dont want to be here for the long haul…cut them off now.

The extra $$ from Canada is helping them stay here since this area is pretty much tapped out.

That massive stadium goes relatively unused except for 9 weekends a year.

Doesnt seem worth all the $ for upkeep for a franchise that doesnt seem committed to staying in WNY.

There are plenty of pro stadiums that go unused besides the games. The upkeep is minimal during the off season, the stadiums is in amazing shape for its age. There is hardly anyone here to fix/add/improve so I don’t see the maintance being this huge issue.

The fieldhouse gets used constantly by groups/organisations/schools.

And as far as the stadium not being use??? they have concerts and things there all the time in offseason. My mother lives about 1/8mi from the stadium for the last 35+years so i used to here them all the time and still do when i visit.

They don’t do concerts anymore. The only events that were in the stadium this past year would be High School football and the Jim Kelly Camp that I can remember. Maybe 1 or 2 events at most that I am missing.

That is what I am thinking as well, but if the first rounder’s flop the bears get the better end of this trade…

I am just surprised Angelo had the ball to trade for a relatively proven QB that has experience with two starters. Remember Cutler even threw for Bennet at his pro-day last year, and they had a really close bond.

we have exclusive rights to him. He is locked up for atleast this year but he is not happy about his contract. I think it’s league minimum or close to that.
