Well, without incentive, who’s to say they’ll actually bother. It’s not cheap to run the cars and I’m sure no one wants to risk a million dollar chassis, couple hundo thousand engine/trans etc etc…for nothing.
you watch the sport. its a marketing thing. I could rattle off every F1 driver, ask your friends if they know who jenson button, felipe massa, or lewis hamilton are.
Something like that really would get other people involved in watching and keeping up on the news at any rate I’m not going to argue about it.
I’m really trying to find out more of what redbull has done.
Argue? I had no idea you were even worked up about this. You are all over the place though…your posts don’t make a ton of sense.
Anyway, I don’t see a runoff really bringing in any new fans. F1 is F1 whether they’re racing wheel to wheel or not. The NASCAR types aren’t going to like it no matter how you scramble around the cars. I was thinking the runoff idea would be great for current fans, but I don’t see it bringing in anyone new.
LOL I’m not arguing at all. I figured just ending the conversation prior to frustration. Its not really a run off its more or less to show the development from race 1 to the end of the season.
Being an F1 fan is all about frustration. Especially in the Max/Bernie era. You should be used to it by now. All the stupid rules and inconsistent stewards rulings…etc etc
At least Max is out. Hopefully someone better replaces him.
I posted a thread with the video/pictures/info in Genauto because no one comes into the motorsports forum. Shit is crazy though, the pic of his face/helmet is gross
Renault and Toyota have had grumblings of pulling out since '05, but it does not appear as though they will before 2012. Granted a buyout led by Flavio is always a possibility at Renault. Look for ProDrive/Aston vs Audi/Porsche (Chassis/Engine) if cost reduction continues.
I actually agree with the teams not letting him test… kinda scaring me a little since I normally want them to break all the rules for the greatest team ever with the greatest driver ever.
