How do you get the Euro BBC feed? I have dish network. Or is it online?
snky snky.
You win for now, I’ll find out somehow.
Mike always wins… thats how it works.
Hahaha you know it Dave!
Ross Brawn buys Honda F1, confirms Button and Ruebens as drivers.
Bruno Senna signs with Mercedes DTM for a year off and then hopefully an F1 seat in 2010.
FOTA proposes a 3 point gap between 1st and second place, FOM backs it to the FIA.
Since they bought the team so late are they running an 2008 car with update aero or did honda already have a 2009 car in the works when they decided to sell?
Honda was funding the operation until March 18th.
Oh yeah, and here is the new Force India car (if anyone even cares, I know I dont)
STR is supposed to release their car on Monday.
The American F1 team that used to be know as ‘USF1’, has been asked by Bernie Ecclestone and the FOM to change their logo and name, since ‘F1’ is registered as their legal property. From now they will run under the name of USGPE, which stands for US Grand Prix Engineering.
I care that there’s a bigger field, but that’s about the extent.
New STR breaks cover.
Sharp, as always.

Aka, we’re doing aero and reliability work, the rest of you are trying to get sponsors.
Exactly. Just like Toyota always qualifying on zero fuel for the Japanese GP to get in the top 5. Gotta have something positive to say when your bosses ask how you spent $600mil to get your ass handed to you.
Alonso thinks Brawn are neck and neck with BMW competing for 3rd (or better).
While Hamidouche thinks Vettel is the hidden threat in the new RBR this year.
We’ll see in 2 weeks.
Are they really sponsored by Brawny paper towels? lol
lol, no, but wouldn’t it be hilarious?
Team head Ross Brawn, likened to Albert Einstein in a caricature by the German newspaper Bild, said: “It will take the other teams some time to copy our ideas, if they manage to at all.”
I do really think they are the real deal. And Brawn seems confident like he has a pair of brass knuckles on when confronting Alonso in a dark Alley.
And the FIA borks the points system. :picard:
Points system remains the same. Driver’s championship is awarded to the driver with the most wins. Points are consulted in the case of a tie and to award manufacturer’s championship.
Not really a fan. I like rewarding winning, but there needs to be a consistency to the driver to win a season championship. Especially with how many changes and evolutions teams go through in a season, one team could dominate the first 4-6 races then drop to mid-pack and still claim a drivers championship.
FAWK, I didn’t see that
