The EvoX is a joke. They moved away from the 4G63 and made a few changes that negatively changed the car. The Evo 9 is IMO still the best one made. I think it even looks better than the EvoX.
The biggest mistake they made was the YAW controlled handling. It’s great for taking a long bending turn, but coming into the twisties the YAW keeps the car set up for one direction even as your turing into the opposite. I’m not pulling this shit out of my head either. I’m a die hard Top Gear fan. :ninja
The Evo 9 outperforms the EvoX on the road track as well.

The only good looking Subaru, in my opinion, is the Legacy GT and even then you can find PLENTY of better looking cars.

The only sti i would take over an evo is the 07 thats all. As for the 1/4 mile time maybe they found someone who can actually drive the cars at a good track, the 07 wrx tr they rated at 14.2, 3 weeks after i took mine off the lot i went to lvd and on my third pull turned a 13.9 with the same car at LVD.
