Eeh, the V-Spec is currently being tested, google around for details. Nissan is pretty confident that it can beat the ZR1’s lap times.

In any case, I find this funny simply because those are not meant for drag racing at all.
Also, the difference in time for any of them wasn’t that big at all… after all it’s just a drag race. Plus who would pick a corvette over a Ferrari or Porsche? Especially when GM is going down (and who knows what will be left from a that company down the road). That ZR1 is probably the best sports car GM will come up with in a long time. Where as Porsche, Ferrari and even Nissan will continue with development of their sports cars. I don’t hear any of them of thinking filing for bankruptcy.
No doubt the ZR1 seems like a great sports car, but the price (~130,000CAD) and it being from GM (most people don’t even consider buying American car these days), I don’t see that car being on the market for very long.

How much is a ZR1 ? I’m surprised the GTR even kept up
