You’re a lot better off going down a regular hill than the bunny hill if you’re trying to learn how to snowboard. Plus there isnt 90,000 ppl on a 100ft hill all falling down in front of you. On regular hills you have to turn, which forces you to carve. i know when i was going down the bh i was reluctant to carve, and i couldnt because some little kid would be right in the middle.
However last year some girl fell in front of me and i jumped over her and actually made it down the hill. i felt pretty BA lol. i only ski now tho. im teh suck at snowboarding.
ill prob be going everyday during the week besides fridays
The Schoolhouse hill at HV is actually pretty good for getting the basics of snowboarding down. Learning how to get up, stand, stop, turn, link turns, and some basic carving. Its got enough slope where you can get the speed you need to actually move a snowboard. The actual toe-rope bunny hill on the other hand I wouldn’t even think of using.
Sweet. Works out like I will be in for Tuesday Thursday nights for sure, maybe the ocassional monday or sunday. Anyone wanna split rides or go half on gas? My first week I will probably be alittle slow but should be ripping switch soon there after…
I’ve seen those winches, they use them for street rails…
This year is the first year in six I haven’t had the shop hookup, but might do the night pass. I’m all healed up so I’ll have to get back on the horse…

I still have a ton of passes for Holiday Valley if you guys need some. Good for 8 hour passes any day of the week. Really looking forward to this season and the new high speed quad that is up and almost ready to go.
Onefast - I’ll def be hitting you up for a couple of these… I’ve got a SHITLOAD of vacation to blow between now and Jan 1; and I can’t get off more than 1 or 2 days in a row due to projects I’m working on. Hopefully the weather is good in Dec for boarding.
