Interesting how much higher the nose gills got. It’s their first independently constructed chassis since they were Minardi, however it’s largely based on the Red Bull STR4.
Any of you guys been reading the technical discussions about McLaren’s blown rear wing? Pretty creative way to get the same effect as the old flexi wings - although the real credit needs to be given to BMW @ Suzuka 2009 where they had something similar, although not as effective.
Smaller front tires = less overtaking (good job FIA, should’ve given them larger rears, left the fronts alone, more power, less aero, more mechanical grip, more power, more mistakes, more passing, more oversteer, more show… wait nahhh that makes too much sense).
