Weather.com shows the first 3 days of February as 40, 36 and 37 degrees for highs. :tdown:
Driving down 81 now and the only snow on the ground to speak of is around Pulaski and Parish. Maybe a few inches and spotty. Depressing.
of course my zr sucks in the bumps i know that. its a fat pig haha. the only thing it has handling wise is its fast on smooth curvy stuff.
thought about a procross?
if you get an xp i strongly suggest installing all the braces they sell.

oh…and that map is extremely depressing. i suggest not posting it at all until there are sizeable areas with 18+ inches. lol
I have thought about a procross, but they are too new for me at this point and to expensive. I am trying to stay under $7K, the crappier the weather the less I want to sink $7k into a sled. I haven’t ruled out the twin spar chassis, just would really prefer and etec. I’m hoping I can get a good deal on something since this season has been so tough.
Last few times I picked up parts at the dealer I keep hearing customers say how they cant find any used sleds. People don’t want to pay 10k+ on a new sled.
Seems pretty tough to find an e-tec around 7k. Who knows at the end of this season though when people haven’t ridden them at all and are really not looking forward to another summer of payments.
At this point unless we get hammer with snow in February and March there’s no way I’m doing anything other than storing my ZR and just riding it next year. Paid cash for it, put about $100 into it and could sell it tomorrow and get 100% of my investment out if I wanted to.

just drifted my way into work knocking down the snow too high for my front bumper…putting some extra hours in then going home to get the sled out. gonna tune the clutching for the new pipe and track. had about 4 inches when i left the house and its still coming down good.
Not much in the Southtowns…yet.

Coming down pretty good on the Colden/East aurora boarder right now. Prolly about 4inches on the ground from the last 24hrs. Colden trail riders will usually open if there is 6inches on the ground. There will be mud and water out there for sure.
Colden Trail Riders opened their trails at 9:30 tonite. I’m heading out tomorrow morning. I’ll post up conditions as the day progresses. I’m sure it will be shitty though!

Just called mom to let her know I’d be swinging by on my lunch to grab my trailer/sled. And I almost pulled the receiver off the GTO this morning thinking I wouldn’t be using it this week.
Tri County Drifthoppers just opened too. Since they connect to Folsom that’s makes for a decent loop.

kid around the corner from me went out to deerfield and rode saturday. apparently they had some snow…he said they put on 130 miles.
108 miles today. Left out my back door in Colden, rode to arcade, through arcade, java, styrkersville, to Chaffee, back to Colden. Had to back track a couple of times due to large trees down (coming out of strykersville into Chaffee, there was a few snags). The best riding was Colden and the higher parts of the Arcade and Folsom. There was water/mud, but to too terrible. We went through java/north java at some point too. This was crummy. It wasn’t too bad of a day. Snowing in Colden now.
